Joy and Chris Bourne are the hosts of a boutique accommodation service at Strathalbyn, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, a short 20 minute drive from Mt Barker.
When you choose to stay at Strathbourne Accommodation you
are welcomed into our charming 112 year old home.
Situated in the heart of Strathalbyn and 10 minutes from the Langhorne Creek wine region and its wineries, Hamilton House offers traditional hosted bed and breakfast accommodation.
Our home is uniquely situated within walking distance to the whole township of Strathalbyn and its many varied amenities including a yearly Antique Fair.
Hamilton House has a significant history in B&B accommodation being run previously by
Jenny and David Thomas.
We purchased the property from them in 2005 and after further developing the gardens and outdoor areas we began offering hosted B&B accommodation in 2009.
In 2016 we undertook extensive renovations to the rear of our home building on a new kitchen, pantry, laundry and living room for ourselves and renovating the B&B bedrooms which remain in the original heritage listed home.
