01/07/20 - Location, location, location; in walking distance of all you need in Strathalbyn. Fantastic character house with very comfortable beds and lovely ensuites. The dining/lounge area is immaculate and the log fire on a cold night was appreciated. Ample provisions for afternoon tea and breakfast further added to our stay. The garden is beautiful and a highlight. Joy and Chris are so nice and we felt right at home. This is enormous value for money and if back in the area would absolutely stay again.

22/11/2012 - This was the first B 'n' B I'd ever stayed in and it set very high standards for all future B 'n' B's at which I find myself. I only spent one night at Hamilton House but I treasured my time there. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The country-style breakfast was perfect. The gardens, constructed and maintained by the owners, had clearly seen much TLC. As for the rooms, the best way I can describe them is that I felt pampered.Incidentally, it was at Hamilton House that I proposed to my partner. It was the perfect location.

05/01/2012 - It was marvelous staying here with you in your home. After driving from Darwin to Strathalbyn this definitely became a place to relax. And your breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. Being here felt like a belated Christmas as you still had all the decorations up. The only thing missing was the real snow!! (But we did not miss it at all.) Again, thank you,
